EAST & OLD CHURCH

All elders on duty should report to the Foreman and Minister. If unable to attend it is the elder's responsibilty to find a replacement in good time. If there are visitors in the Church please let the Minister know before the service. Team Leader: Supervise others on duty, check off the duty list and if necessary find a replacement for any person missing. Ensure the Bible is on the lectern and open at the reading. The team leader will stand between the red door and the reception door. Duty 1: Situated in reception area, one at the East Door and one at the West Door (marked as East and West in colours), handing out Order of Service/Notices. Duty 2: Situated in the sanctuary, meet and greet people and inform Minister of any visitors. Offerings: From 2 November the offering is to be collected once again, the team leader will collect the offerings from the congregation who are seated at the rear of the sanctuary, those on duty 1 will begin in the front area of the centre aisle and work towards the rear of the area and those on duty 2 will begin at the rear and work forward to meet those on duty 1, those on duty 2 will then bring the offering forward. Duty Treasurer: At the 11:15am service, the Duty Treasurer (in bold and underlined) to assist with Count afterwards - on the weeks where there is no Duty Treasurer highlighted, this is Joyce Archibald and Margaret Myles is on duty but not Duty Treasurer.
