There are refreshments after worship at both Inverarity and East & Old every Sunday and this is a time for fellowship.

Friends 'R Us is a social group for widowed and single people who meet every week to combat loneliness. They go out and about for walks, afternoon tea, visits and activities.

The Wee Blether coffee and chat weekly for the elderly and anyone in the local community. It’s a good way to find out what’s going on in the church, meet the minister and come in out of the cold.

Heat Hub over the winter months, for anyone struggling to heat their home or just to come in out of the cold and have some company. This has proved a lifeline for some vulnerable members of the community in recent years and we have gained new worshippers from it.

Monthly Folk Night for the music community to come and play together. Funds from ticket sales go back into the church

Monthly Ladies Night Out – a social meal for the ladies of the church to meet for a time of fellowship

Monthly Men’s Night Out – a time of fellowship for the men in the church to meet together in the local pub.

Weekly Art Group with an annual art exhibition in September. This group has evolved over the years and is now a form of therapy for the vulnerable with support from the group leader.

Monthly Souper Friday Lunch group at Inverarity - as there is no central meeting place in Inverarity, we felt it would be nice to use the hall as a gathering point for socialising, especially post Covid pandemic, for the wellbeing of the locals. It is well attended, and the teams have been working well together and found that it is also bringing us all closer together too. We use the donations made at this to benefit various local charities.
